Day drinker/day trader/dog owner Jay listens politely enough as Beefy Bob the Bartender celebrates the life and times of Mookie, a saloon tabby cat mouser who once proudly patrolled the premises. They are interrupted rudely by an insistent Janet who tells Jay she has had it up to here with his loose-lipped dog with no name terrorizing her neighborhood. Receiving little to no satisfaction, in fact, little but scorn, Janet enlists the services of a beat cop who issues Jay with a warning, to which Jay responds quite artfully. 1980’s.
